In a world drowning in AI content, sounding human is your strategic advantage.

I help founders, thought leaders, and growing brands clarify their messaging through StoryBrand-informed strategy, conversion copy, and authority-building content that customers actually connect with.

Before & After: Why Messaging Matters

Most businesses don’t have a bad product problem.

They have a messaging problem.

Their website sounds polished. Professional. Technically accurate.

And somehow… completely forgettable.

Here’s the difference between copy that talks at your customer and messaging that makes them feel seen.

BEFORE

“We leverage innovative operational solutions to optimize enterprise performance.”

AFTER

“Get your production line running predictably again without constant firefighting.”

Stop publishing content nobody remembers and start building authority people trust.

The difference isn’t just style.

It’s clarity.
It’s resonance.

It’s understanding what your customer is actually trying to solve.

Clarify Your Message

When your business has evolved but your messaging hasn’t caught up, customers feel the disconnect. I help uncover what makes your brand distinct and shape messaging that’s clear, credible, and easy to connect with.

How I Help

Humanize AI-Generated Content

AI can produce content quickly. What it can’t do is sound genuinely thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, or unmistakably like you. I help brands transform AI-generated drafts into messaging that actually resonates with humans.

Build Authority

I create thought leadership, newsletters, and SEO content that helps smart people sound smart, clear, and unmistakably themselves.

Create Voice & Tone Guidelines

Most brands don’t need to sound more professional. They need to sound more recognizable. I create voice and tone guidelines that help teams communicate consistently across websites, emails, LinkedIn, newsletters, and AI-generated content — without sounding robotic or interchangeable.

Diagnose What’s Not Converting

Sometimes the problem isn’t your offer. It’s the way the story is being told. Through messaging audits and conversion reports, I identify the friction points quietly costing you trust, engagement, and action.

A Few Brands I’ve Helped Clarify, Humanize, and Grow

From enterprise brands and SEO leaders to founder-led businesses and thought leadership platforms, I help companies sound clearer, more credible, and more human. My work spans messaging strategy, voice and tone guidelines, SEO content, ghostwriting, conversion copy, newsletters, and authority-building content designed to connect with real people, not just algorithms.

Created SEO-focused copy that ranked on page one of Google while simplifying a complex cross-border service.

Simplified and humanized complex cybersecurity certification messaging while helping position Destination Certification as a trusted guide, not just another online course provider.

Helped shape employee wellbeing and workplace communication content for Microsoft Viva, balancing enterprise-level clarity with a more human, empathetic tone.

Wrote thought leadership for Gotham Ghostwriters on the power of storytelling, emotional truth, and why compelling writing matters just as much in business as it does in books.

Hi, I’m Rebecca

I’m a messaging strategist, copywriter, and longtime story obsessive who somehow found herself at the intersection of StoryBrand, SEO, thought leadership, and human psychology.

Over the last 9+ years, I’ve helped enterprise brands, founders, consultants, podcasts, and growing businesses clarify what they do, why it matters, and how to communicate it in a way people actually connect with.

My work spans homepage messaging, voice and tone guidelines, SEO content, thought leadership, newsletters, ghostwriting, and messaging audits designed to uncover the friction quietly costing brands trust and attention.

I currently ghostwrite for Forbes and Inc. thought leaders in finance, tech, and DEI. I’ve written for brands including Microsoft, Stephan Spencer, Marketing Speak, Get Yourself Optimized, BorderBuddy, Destination Certification, Roger Love, Trajector Medical, heroX, and more.

Before copywriting, I worked in screenwriting (yes, I met with the guys who wrote the Hangover, and lots of other cool writer/producers!) I was a finalist for an HBO diversity fellowship and I have been a creative writer for many years, which may explain why I care so much about emotional resonance, narrative clarity, and making customers feel understood instead of marketed at.

I’ve co-authored two books, written essays published in the LA Times, and been recognized as a top writer on Medium.

I’m also a transplanted New Yorker living gluten-free in Southern California, except when someone orders key lime pie at the Galley.
